Hi guys,
There are two things. The first and biggest is this:
THE SPIRITUAL VEGAN
...Which is a new vegan recipe blog me and my mate Christian have decided to start up together. It's in Spanish and English, and the recipes combine both of our inspiration and nutty humour with his meticulousness and eye for measures. I dealt with the tecchy parts and do the typing. It might not be obvious, but I'm also working on publicity. The update schedule is "every weekend", which means Friday or Saturday and Sunday if we really couldn't manage before then.
I'm pretty excited about this little project. It's not exactly full-time, but in a year we'll have an entire recipe-book online. And seriously, I think our stuff is among the best. I really do. (Actually in England you have some good food writers but in Spain there's a surprising lack of them. And I don't know any really original vegan chefs).
So here's the link:

I started that thing up about a year ago with the idea of eventually going professional and I'm still working at it. With a lot of embarrassing trial and error, and some inner work on my own blocks to expressing myself, I'm proud to say that I've found what looks to be my groove now. Accordingly, I've made myself a regular posting schedule.
You might have heard when I was starting out that I was planning to make it a website on the topic of happiness. Well, thanks to the advice of a really cool person (www.magicalchest.net) I realised that I shouldn't write about what I'm aiming for, but what I already have. This was one of my biggest blocks. I got all authoritative on a topic which I was only really intermediate at, and then got uncomfortable looking at my own writing because I didn't feel authentic.
I finally got past that recently with my recent series of posts, How to find the truth in a world of lies. I ended up realising that I could write an entire book on the topic, not just five posts. I also noticed that my best posts from the past were about the same stuff. So I identified my topic: the energy of Truth. In particular, this is a personal development / spirituality site, but coming from the angle of someone who loves to find truth. I find that's my special approach. When I want to solve a personal issue, I like to do so by deepening my perceptions and understanding my playing field better. For instance, I've spent this year focusing most of all on financial development. I started out by saying "Wait a minute - what is money? Why do I need it? Can I do without it? What is work? Is it good, is it bad? How can I act congruently with respect to work and money?" I felt that if my beliefs about this topic were aligned with reality I could have a good foundation to stand on. I won't go into details, but I'm really happy with this approach so far
In fact, my pursuit of spirituality and personal growth started out from my search for truth. At some point I stepped back from all my reading and thought, "What can I apply my mind to that would be worth the challenge?" I came up with happiness -- whatever that would turn out to be. And this is how spirituality and curiosity came together in a spectacularly happy marriage.
I recommend you check out the new series How to find the truth in a world of lies

Thanks for reading. I hope you're having a beautiful time in University (about half of the people here) or wherever else.......................... what are you up to?
Warm regards
Andrew
THE SPIRITUAL VEGAN
